COSRX Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence consists of 95% yeast extracts that lighten skin discoloration and pigmentation, and slow down skin aging. Galactomyces is actually a type of yeast and a byproduct of fermented sake. Galactomyces has many skincare benefits. It can help to brighten the skin, reduce impurities and it also contains antioxidant effects: it protects the skin against free radicals.

Ingredients we love:
- Niacinamide: Prevents the effects of aging in the skin by stimulating the synthesis of ceramides, improving the skin barrier, fading dark spots en diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.
- Panthenol: A provitamin with moisturizing, hydrating abilities, that has anti-inflammatory and protective properties. Helps prevent irritation.
- Allantoin: Soothing emollient that has skin-softening, protecting and wound healing properties. Naturally found in the comfrey plant.
Directions
- Apply an appropriate amount to cleansed skin (after toning).
- Pat the product into the skin until fully absorbed.
- Use in the morning and at night.
- Follow up with your preferred serum and moisturizer.

"The essence comes out very watery at first, then becomes very sticky but once your skin has soaked it in it's not sticky at all and feels very light.
I think it did help to even out my skin tone because the slight redress on my cheeks and nose has faded.
