The Neogen Azulene Soothing Cream is a soft cream that will calm down the skin. The cream has a blue color to it, due to the use of guaiazulene. Besides the calming ingredients, the cream also contains ceramides to strengthen the moisture barrier to prevent epidermal waterloss. 

Ingredients we love:

• Guaiazulene: A soothing ingredient that calms down swelling, inflammation and redness, and also an antioxidant agent that helps reduce the formation of free radicals.
• Centella Asiatica Extract: A wound healing plant with anti-inflammatory qualities. Stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, hydrates skin and increases the antioxidant levels in skin.
• Madecassoside: One of the prominent active compounds of the well-known Centella Asiatica. It has significant wound healing, soothing and antioxidant abilities.
• Ceramides: Enforces the skin’s protective moisture barrier, and increase the hydration of the skin, leaving skin feeling smooth and firm, with less fine lines.
• Allantoin: Soothing emollient that has skin-softening, protecting and wound healing properties. Naturally found in the comfrey plant.
• Panthenol: A provitamin with moisturizing, hydrating abilities, that has anti-inflammatory and protective properties. Helps prevent irritation.
• Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter): An emollient that intensely moisturizes skin. Has a regenerating, soothing effect on skin and is rich in antioxidants.
• Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract: Medicinal herb with anti-inflammatory properties because of the compounds bisabolol and chamazulene, with mild antioxidant activity.

Directions

1. Apply an appropriate amount to cleansed (and toned) skin.
2. Pat into the skin until fully absorbed.
3. Use in the morning and at night.
