The Suntique I'm 8.8% Dark Spot Solution is a brightening cream that can help to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and melasma. 

One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm. Therefore it is advised, especially if you are dealing with hyperpigmentation, to use a sunscreen on a daily base.

• Niacinamide: Also known als vitamin B3. Prevents the effects of aging in the skin by stimulating the synthesis of ceramides, improving the skin barrier, fading dark spots en diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.
• Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water: A powerful antioxidant with UV protective, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial abilities, useful in treating rosacea, acne and atopic dermatitis.

Directions

1. Apply an appropriate amount to cleansed (and toned) skin twice a day.
2. Pat into the skin until fully absorbed.
3. Follow up with a more emollient moisturizer if needed.
