The Toun28 AHA + BHA + PHA Serum is, like the name already mentioned, a serum with 3 sorts of chemical exfoliants. Each acid has its own benefits: AHA slough off dead skin cells and impurities on skin surface, while BHA removes impurities and sebum inside pores. And PHA prevent moisture loss in the skin. Suitable for every skin type, even the most sensitive ones.

BHAs are oil soluble. They not only work on the skin’s surface, but also penetrate deeper and unclog pores and treat blemishes. This is why BHAs are preferred for those with normal to oily and clogged skin. BHAs have natural skin-calming properties, as well as anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activities and therefore can benefit those prone to redness and rosacea.

• People with an Aspirin will react poorly to the BHA in this product (betaine salicylate). Avoid using this product if you have an Aspirin allergy.

AHAs are humectants, meaning they can retain moisture, hence they are preferred for dry and damaged skin. AHAs are derived from natural substances. Combining these two forms of exfoliating will help to target blemishes without overdrying the skin.

• Niacinamide: Prevents the effects of aging in the skin by stimulating the synthesis of ceramides, improving the skin barrier, fading dark spots en diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.
• Panthenol: A provitamin with moisturizing, hydrating abilities, that has anti-inflammatory and protective properties. Helps prevent irritation.

• Tartaric Acid

Directions

1. Apply an appropriate amount to a cotton pad and gently swipe across the face
2. Apply at night after cleansing
3. People with an aspirin allergy will react poorly to the BHA in this product (Betaine salicylate). Do not use this product if you have an aspirin allergy.

We suggest using sunscreen on a daily base, especially when using chemical exfoliants.
